What MergeSmith is

A tool that turns tickets into pull requests using an agent that runs with your credentials, against your repository, on youraccount. MergeSmith orchestrates; the code, the repository and the agent’s bill stay yours.

Your part

• You review what merges. The approval gates exist so a person can stay in the loop; turning them off is your choice and your responsibility.
• What the agent writes is generated code. Read it the way you would read a contractor’s first draft.
• You only connect boards and repositories you are allowed to connect.

Our part

• Credentials are encrypted before storage and never shown to anyone, including you.
• MergeSmith never pushes code itself, never creates labels, and never changes repository settings.
• Merges wait for whatever your branch protection requires — your rules are the rules.

No warranty

The service is provided as-is, with no promise of availability or fitness. An agent can write wrong code and a pipeline can stall; the timeline is designed to show you which, but the decisions taken on top of it are yours.
